Overuse Consitions
 |
The term “overuse
injury” is frequently used in medicine when talking about the musculoskeletal
system. Repetitive stress, without adequate time to allow for healing, will
lead to the breakdown of the components that make up the musculoskeletal
system. This is especially true for bones and tendons. Overuse injury of
bones can lead to the development of stress fractures. Similarly, overuse
injuries to tendons can lead to the development of tendinitis. |
